Now he becomes a full protagonist of its development and growth, contributing with his vast experience and expertise on all issues related to the quality and safety of care. Areas that are particularly close to our hearts because they are in line with our mission and are among the requirements for accreditation by the Joint Commission International, obtained in 2014, also in view of its renewal next year. I would like to thank prof. Gianluca Oricchio, who is about to conclude his mandate as Director General: in these eight years he has been passionately committed and has made an important contribution to this institution".

For my part, I think I have accomplished an important mission that I happily took on at the beginning of 2009: a journey has now been completed. They were really beautiful and meaningful years for me. The solution of two difficult economic crises, the first JCI accreditation, the decisive improvement of all the outcomes witnessed in the National Outcomes Plan, the managerial growth of the top figures and the development of Private Medicine on the domestic and international markets are facts that bear witness to the commitment of all of us. The human wealth with which I will leave this office is truly priceless: for this I will always remain grateful to this institution".
