Protagonists of a Hi-Tech event organized by UniCampus Bio-Medico of Rome at the Caniglia theatre, school children received a virtual reality VR headset as a gift.
Sulmona, 2 March 2023 – Over 400 students participated in Destinazione UCBM, Hi-Tech university orientation event thanks to virtual reality.
The tour promoted byUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma made a stop at Maria Caniglia theatre di Sulmona, involving hundreds of kids coming from high schools “E. Fermi” and “Ovid” and by the 'technical institute “L. Da Vinci" di Sulmona, from Lyceum "Vitruvius Pollio"of Avezzano and by the 'institute "Patini Liberatore"of Castel di Sangro. The young people present, thanks to a VR virtual reality viewer, which was given to them at the end of the event, were able to learn about the potential of technology combined with the opportunities of academic training fromUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma.
Andrea Rossi, CEO e direttore generale dell 'Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, addressing the many students present, illustrated the details and opportunities offered to them by the event: «Today we offer you two hours to think about yourself, about what you would like to do when you grow up and become great. This is the age of important choices, making the right choice now means building a successful and satisfying future. For mayor of Sulmona, Gianfranco Di Piero, «choosing a university is a very important choice, after high school graduation, which is the first real test of life. I know the Campus Bio-Medico in Rome as a great health excellence in our country that has grown a lot in recent years, also as a university, expanding and diversifying its educational offerings in recent years, both in engineering and in health-related courses. The event was also attended by Bishop of Sulmona – Valva, Monsignor Michele Fusco, who urged school children as follows: «You are at the age of making choices. The Bio-Medical Campus gives you this possibility by offering an integral training that also takes care of the spirit and interiority. Have eyes on the future."
