Biography

Born in Augusta (SR) on 02/06/1982

Degree in Medicine and Surgery obtained at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart - Rome branch on 25/07/2007 (score 110/110 with honors) with a thesis on cerebral perfusion SPECT before and after pharmacological epileptogenic stimulus in patients with partial epilepsy with a view to surgical treatment

Specialization in Nuclear Medicine obtained at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart - Rome branch on 12/04/2012 (score 50/50 with honors) with a thesis on parathyroid scintigraphy with MIBI in patients with secondary hyperparathyroidism.

Curriculum

Full-time and permanent Medical Director in the discipline of Nuclear Medicine (specialist position) at the Fondazione Policlinico Universitario "A. Gemelli" IRCCS from 01/02/2013 to date; the work activity is carried out at the PET-CT Center of the same facility, in particular reporting of PET-CT exams with FDG in patients with neoplastic or neuro-degenerative pathology, with fluoro-choline in patients with hyperparathyroidism and with fluoro-choline or PSMA in patients with prostatic neoplasia.

Research activity in the same fields mentioned above, with particular interest in multiple myeloma and prostate cancer, with at least 54 publications in extensive journals and numerous congress abstracts and oral communications at national and international congresses.

Teaching activity at the University of the Biomedical Campus of Rome from 2020 to today in the Degree Course in Medical Radiology Techniques.
