Born in Sabaudia (LT) in 1963.

Curriculum
Scientific high school diploma: at the Liceo Statale ``GB Grassi" in Latina, with a grade of 60/60.
Degree in Physics: May 25, 1989, at the University ``La Sapienza" of Rome. Degree mark: 110/110 cum laude. Thesis title: On the Ernst equation in
General Relativity: Hamiltonian formulation and problems related to the definition of energy in the collision of gravitational waves. Thesis supervisor: Prof. Valeria Ferrari.
PhD in Physics: 17 November 1995, at the University ``La Sapienza" of Rome.
Thesis title: Space-time splitting and its applications in General Relativity.
Actual position. Research Director at the "M. Picone" Institute for Calculation Applications, National Research Council, via dei Taurini 19 00185 Rome.
Scientific Interests: General Relativity and its Applications (3+1 spacetime splitting; measurement process and role of the observer in General Relativity; particle dynamics and assigned background fields; gravitational waves; gravitational perturbations. Use and development of systems for symbolic calculus (MapleTM and MathematicaTM).
Referee activity for various international journals (received "Outstanding Reviewer Awards 2021" by the American Physical Society); reviewer for Mathematical Reviews.
Visiting Scientist at various institutions. In particular, by invitation at the "Institut des Hautes tudes Scientifiques (IHES)", Paris, France to collaborate with Prof. T. Damour for a non-continuous period of about 3 months a year, starting from 2012 until today) .
