Marta Menci

Biography

Fixed-term researcher (RTD-A) at theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma.

Lecturer of the Mathematics course for the three-year degree course in Biomedical Engineering (SSD MAT/08-10CFU-100 hours), common to the Master's Degree in Medicine and Surgery 'MedTech' (10CFU-125 hours).

Since 2017, he has held teaching positions for the courses: Analysis and Linear Algebra, Mathematical Methods, Methods for Optimization and Operations Research.

The research activity focuses on the development of mathematical models and the study of efficient numerical techniques and their implementation, for applications in the field of collective dynamics characteristic of different contexts: biological systems, cellular dynamics, and pedestrian crowds.

Member of the National Institute of Higher Mathematics, member of the Italian Mathematical Union (UMI), the Italian Society of Applied and Industrial Mathematics (SIMAI), and the European Women in Mathematics Association (EWM).
