Graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the Campus Bio Medico University of Rome, with a grade of 110/110 with honors, supervisor Prof. M. Cicala, discussing the experimental thesis entitled "Intra-esophageal distribution and perception of acid reflux in non-erosive gastro-esophageal reflux disease patients".

Specialist in Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy since November 2008 at the Campus Bio Medico University of Rome.

PhD in Experimental Pathophysiology, major in “Mucosal Inflammation” (Tor Vergata University, Rome, October 2008 - October 2012).

Eligible for National Scientific Qualification, Professor II level, Competition Sector 06/D4, since 31/10/2018.

PROFESSIONAL CAREER

Responsible for simple professional functions, UOC of Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy at the Campus Bio Medico University Hospital of Rome, from January 2014 to present.

Freelance collaboration assignment, from January 2009 to December 2013, at the Campus Bio Medico University Hospital in Rome.

Head of the Digestive Physiopathology Outpatient Clinic, Campus Bio Medico University Hospital of Rome, since January 2010, personally performing high-resolution esophageal manometry, anorectal manometry, 24-hour esophageal pH-impedancemetry.

Since January 2009 he has personally performed diagnostic and operative gastroscopies and colonoscopies (polypectomies, esophageal variceal ligation). He performs >1000 tests/year.

Since May 2009, he has been involved in the night shift management of endoscopic emergencies at the Campus Bio Medico University Hospital in Rome.

Since 2013, he has been responsible for the gastroenterology clinic at the ENI medical facility, Mattei headquarters.
