RESEARCH FIELDS

-Physics of complex systems and mathematical models with applications to theoretical biophysics and biomedical engineering. Analytical and numerical techniques for dynamical systems and for modeling tumor growth, computational electrophysiology of cardiac and neural tissue with mechano-electrical and thermo-electrical couplings.

-Relativistic and non-relativistic astrophysics with applications to the mathematical theory of black holes, primordial cosmologies, self-gravitating configurations and the theoretical foundations of General Relativity.

-Fluid dynamics through the application of effective acoustic geometries in fluids. General Relativity techniques for the study of acoustic black holes.

-Bayesian statistics. Complex networks and stochastic models.
