CIPR Net

CIPRNet -The Critical Infrastructure Preparedness and Resilience Research Network

Project objectives

CIPRNet (The Critical Infrastructure Preparedness and Resilience Research Network) aims to establish a network of excellence in the field of critical infrastructure protection (CIP) by involving a broad range of stakeholders. The project's primary objective is to create a shared virtual center of expertise for CIP and integrate each partner's resources in modeling, simulation, and analysis of critical infrastructure. This integration will leverage research and development activities acquired in more than 50 projects co-funded by the European Union, and this center of expertise will lay the foundation for a European Infrastructure Simulation and Analysis Centre (EISAC) by 2020.
