Project objectivesSystemic autoimmune diseases are associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular disease, which significantly impacts the prognosis for life and well-being. This project aims to extensively evaluate the performance and calibration of currently available cardiovascular risk algorithms, both in their original form and adapted for rheumatic disease, in large cohorts of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus, psoriatic arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. The retrospective and prospective data thus collected will be used to develop innovative risk algorithms, which will also be implemented with the aid of artificial intelligence. |
