| The project aims to intercept new paradigms of processes and workflows through innovative and sustainable use of space, mapping its relational characteristics through an innovative digital platform, through partnerships between academic institutions and companies interested in applying to anticipate new ways of using spaces.
The project's most significant innovative feature is its ability to serve as an infrastructure capable of supporting the transformation of workplaces and work methods brought about by the pandemic, reconciling the trade-off created between workers' relative freedom to organize their time and work (work-life balance) with organizational and social cohesion. Relational workspaces—third-party workplaces (offices, co-working spaces, but also theaters, libraries, etc.)—exist, and will increasingly exist by leveraging the availability of existing spaces, to direct the workforce based on the opportunities for accessible relational capital. Currently, there are no platforms on the market that map and integrate information on the spatial characteristics of places (location, space availability, amenities, facilities, etc.) with relational information (content, events, individual knowledge and skills, etc.).
One of the project's goals is to implement MYSPOT, a platform that implements precisely this relational approach to spaces. The platform thrives on the growth of the ecosystem of users, both individuals and organizations, helping them enrich their living experience by integrating spatial and relational information as criteria for choosing a workplace.
