Project objectivesThe project aims to evaluate the impact of multiple pathologies on the biochemical, structural and mechanical properties of the muscle-tendon unit, build a three-dimensional model that mimics the muscle-tendon unit and evaluate in this model how the macroenvironment influences the muscle unit -tendinous itself. Information on the microenvironment and secretome of muscle and tendon cells will be acquired by performing proteomic, biochemical and structural analyses. |
