A Prospective Observational Cohort Study.
Project objectives
Analyze changes in the intestinal microbiota secondary to Vertical Endoscopic Gastroplasty (GVE) or Endoscopic Sleeve Gastroplasty (ESG) surgery and the association with anthropometric parameters in obese patients.
To evaluate the prevalence of irritable bowel syndrome in obese patients candidates for ESG and the impact of ESG on the severity of intestinal symptoms.
