Analysis of synovial pathotypes in patients with Psoriatic Arthritis
Project objectives
Describe the cellular (immunohistology) and molecular (NanoString) signature to identify the different pathotypes of synovitis in treatment-naïve patients with psoriatic arthritis
To determine the relationship between synovial pathotype, clinical manifestations of disease, production of pro-inflammatory cytokines, chemokines and growth factors, and response to treatment with csDMARDS and/or bDMARDs
To determine the relationship between synovial pathotype, extra-articular manifestations of disease, production of biomarkers of metabolic syndrome and obesity, BMI, metabolic syndrome and cardiovascular risk.
