Effect of immunonutrition in patients with periampullary neoplasms and candidates for pancreaticoduodenectomy
Project ObjectivesThe aim of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of oral administration of a formulation containing immunonutrients (called IMPACT oral) on postoperative infectious complications and the average length of hospital stay in patients with periampullary tumors undergoing PCP surgery. Molecular pathways of muscle atrophy will also be evaluated. |
