Effect of lateralization in reverse shoulder arthroplasty: where to lateralize to improve outcomes

Correlation between the variations of pre- and post-operative morphological angles with improvement of pre- and post-operative rom and functional scores

Project objectives

The reverse shoulder prosthesis has recently considerably increased its diffusion, but to date the literature on prosthetic shoulder surgery is scarce and not very exhaustive. In particular, there are no indications on what advantages and what consequences there are in positioning the glenoid and humeral components with different angulations and reciprocal lateralizations.
The aim of the project is to evaluate the correlation between the variations of pre- and post-operative morphological angles and variations in terms of pre- and post-operative ROM and functional scores.
