EXOGGO

Exomic analysis of patients with personal and family history of lung cancer and Ground Glass Opacities for the identification of genetic variants predisposing to the development of lung cancer

Project objectives

The main objective of the project is to investigate the possible role of constitutional genetic variants (with whole exome analysis) in a cohort of patients with GGO and personal and family history of lung cancer and to highlight any correlations between the presence of these variants and the possible degeneration from GGO to lung neoplasia.

Secondary objective: to identify genetic risk factors for lung cancer in patients with GGO.
