Exploring the effect of a novel therapy on chronic intrathecal inflammation in patients with active progressive multiple sclerosis (Finalized Research Call 2021, Young Researchers)
Project objectives
The project investigates the neuroinflammatory and neuroresolving course, associated with neurodegeneration, in patients suffering from primary progressive multiple sclerosis, along different stages of the disease and in relation to the use of immunomodulatory drugs as commonly used in the treatment of the disease.
