FACIES

FACIES – online identification of Failure and Attack on interdependent Critical InfrastructureES

Project objectives

The primary objective of the FACIES project is to develop a distributed methodology for the early identification of attacks, failures, and malfunctions that could jeopardize the normal functioning of interdependent critical infrastructures. Specifically, the feasibility of developing such solutions is demonstrated from a technical standpoint, considering a high degree of automation of the detection system, and highlighting the usefulness of these approaches for promoting cooperation between the various entities involved. Furthermore, it is demonstrated how these tools can concretely improve the robustness and resilience of critical infrastructure systems, thus ensuring the continuity and quality of the services provided.
