MATRIX - Minimizing Adverse haemorrhagic events by TRansradial site and systemic Implementation of angioX
Project Objectives
The main objectives of this project are:
- To demonstrate that radial access is associated with a lower frequency of a composite end point of myocardial infarction, stroke and death compared to femoral access within the first 30 days after early coronary revascularization in patients with acute coronary syndrome.
- To demonstrate that bivaluridina treatment is associated with a lower frequency of adverse events compared to standard therapy with heparin and platelet glycoprotein IIb/IIIa inhibitors.
