The project
The overall goal of MONREAB is to transform the current rehabilitation process by monitoring patients throughout their rehabilitation program to improve functional recovery. The enabling technology is an easy-to-use platform (MONREAB platform) that provides a patient-specific, motivating rehabilitation program that can be used at home and allows for remote monitoring. The MONREAB platform is a wearable, flexible, reconfigurable, modular, and networked system that enables real-time monitoring of patients' activity during rehabilitation and promotes motor recovery.
