 Impact of nutrition and nutrition in the modulation of the intestinal microbiota in the first six months of life.

Project objectives

Study the biogenesis of the intestinal microbiota in the first six months of life and identify the role of breastfeeding and the effects of food and nutritional variations on the development of specific gender- and age-dependent fecal eubiotic/dysbiotic profiles.
Raise awareness of the relevance of the Mediterranean diet, as an effective prevention tool and for its positive effects on the intestinal microbiota and health of the unborn child.
