Project Objectives
Systemic autoimmune diseases are burdened with an increased risk of cardiovascular diseases, with an important impact on the prognosis quoad vitam et valetudinem. The present project aims at extensively evaluating the performance and calibration of the cardiovascular risk algorithms currently available, both in their original version and adapted for rheumatic disease, in large cohorts of patients with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Psoriatic Arthritis and Ankylosing Spondylitis. The retrospective and prospective data collected in this way will serve for the development of innovative risk algorithms, which will also be implemented with the aid of Artificial Intelligence.
