Rs738409 single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) in the patatin-like phospholipase domain containing-3 (PNPLA3) gene and its correlation with the risk of progression to cirrhosis in NAFLD patients
Project objectives
The aim of the present study was to evaluate the power of the PNPLA rs738409 C>G polymorphism in predicting the risk of NASH cirrhosis in NAFLD patients. This is a case-control study in a well-characterized NAFLD population that include a control group representing the general healthy population.
