Combination of rTMS with robotic-assisted therapy of upper limbs in patients with chronic stroke
Project Objectives
This randomized, double-blind, pilot study aims to evaluateing the effect of the combination of rTMS with robotic-assisted therapy (by using robot inMotion2 and 3) applied to the upper limb in chronic stroke patients.
The primary objective is to assess whether the inclusion of rTMS is able to improve the effect of robotic-assisted therapy in patients with chronic ischemic stroke, as measured by the Fugl-Meyer scale.
The secondary objective is to assess the effects of rTMS+robotic combined therapy on the kinematic and dynamic aspects of upper limb motor performance, measured by inMotion2 and inMotion3
