Project objectives

Multicenter retrospective study of clinical documentation collection, aimed at outlining the characteristics of patients who died in palliative care services in the Lazio region. This study aims to evaluate the development of the palliative care network, following the enactment of law 38 of 2010. In particular, it aims to analyze the socio-demographic and clinical characteristics of patients who died in the years 2011-15 in the palliative care services of the Lazio region while defining the proportion in relation to general mortality (Istat data).
