Research areas and methodologies

The Research Unit in Bioethics and Humanities carries out its activity through a multidisciplinary composition (doctors, philosophers, psychologists, nurses and jurists) which allows it to recognize when research and experimentation are really placed at the service of man according to Ethics of a job well done.

Research areas include: 

  • Moral Philosophy (Theory of Anthropology and General Ethics);
  • Applied ethics (to Medicine, Ingengineering and human nutrition);
  • General Bioethics (Theory of the Ethics of a job well done);
  • Clinical Bioethics (Clinical Reasoning, End of Life, Clinical Psychology, etc.);
  • Medical Humanities;
  • Forensic Medicine (Professional Responsibility, Clinical Risk Management, Innovation and quality of care, etc.).
