Le Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) represent the European Union's main program for doctoral and post-doctoral training.

With a pilot plant budget of 6,603 billion euros, MSCAs promote bothexcellence of individual researchers, both male and female is collaborations and knowledge exchange, in research and training.

MSCAs are based on the principle of physical mobility: male and female researchers who receive funding must move from one country to another to acquire new knowledge and skills and develop their research career. Moving between different sectors and disciplines is also strongly encouraged.

MSCAs are based on a   bottom-up, that is, they are open to all sectors of research and innovation and the topics are freely chosen by those doing research.
