For the musical training of students
Founded in 2016 on the initiative of two teachers UCBM of the Institute of Philosophy of Scientific and Technological Action, prof. Flavio Keller and dr. Nicola Di Stefano,Chamber ensemble of the University was born with the aim of contributing to the aesthetic-musical training of students and staff, to be an expression of the humanistic soul of the university as well as to bring university values even outside UCBM.
The ensemble, directed by prof. Flavio Keller, is currently composed of about 15 items: students of the Departmental Faculties of Medicine and Surgery e Ingengineering, doctoral students and staff, some of whom have a conservatory diploma. The training is also integrated by students from the Santa Cecilia Conservatory of Music in Rome and by professional musicians.
Engaged in a repertoire ranging from the 700th to the 800th century, the group performed for the first time in spring 2016, with a program entitled "The Passion in words and music", then in November on the occasion of the inauguration of the 2016-2017 academic year, and at the Centro for the Health of the Elderly in February 2017.
The rehearsals take place in the Club House on the 1st floor of the PRABB on a fortnightly basis. The ensemble is open to selecting new elements, especially strings (violin, viola, cello) and woodwinds (clarinet, oboe, bassoon, horn, trumpet).
