Library

Will it be possible to access the Library during the month of August?

Yes, however the Library will remain closed between8 and the 22 August and every Saturday of the month.

What are the library hours?

In August the Library will observe the following opening hours:

8:30-01:00 pm / 02:00 pm-05:00 pm

The usual hours (8:30-09:00 am pm) will resume on Monday, August 25th.

I'd like to borrow books before the closure and return them in September. Is that possible?

It is possible to borrow books for the summer period and return them by the first week of September.

Will the printing service be active?

The press service at the Trapezio will be available on the same days and at the same opening hours as the Library.

Will it be possible to request scientific articles?

The document delivery service will be active during the Library's opening days and hours, and therefore suspended on Saturdays and between August 8th and 22nd. Please note that many articles are available free of charge (Open Access) on sites such as ResearchGate or through institutional repositories, so it is still recommended to also try academic search engines like Google Scholar, which indexes scientific literature from various sources.

Will it be possible to use electronic resources?

All electronic resources subscribed to at our University (databases, periodicals, WOS and Scopus citation resources, IRIS archive, etc.) can be accessed remotely using your institutional credentials via the single sign-on authentication service called OpenAthens.

All services are interrupted during the Library's closure.
