Teaching in another country, updating skills
Erasmus+ mobility offers the possibility for staff of higher education institutions to participate in activities for teach and update your skills in a program country or partner country, different from the one they belong to, to acquire new skills and deal with new teaching methods. In addition to individual mobility, the possibility of participating in is also offered Blended Intensive Programme (BEEP).
Key Action 1 of the Erasmus Program for Higher Education supports the staff mobility for teaching and staff mobility to update their skills.
Mobility of teaching staff
Teaching staff who work at a higher education institution based in a country participating in the Program can participate in a teaching mobility; can participate in this mobility also company personnel invited for a lecture at a higher education institution. In this case, both the company and the institution must be based in a country participating in the program and the institution must be an ECHE holder.
Teaching mobility can be combined with a period of training to update their skills.

The higher education institution to which the teacher belongs, based in a country participating in the program and in possession of PUT.
The organization host must be a higher education institution from an ECHE-holding program country or a higher education institution from a partner country recognized by the competent authorities. In both cases the two organizations must sign a Interinstitutional agreement before the start of mobility.
Duration of the activity
The mobility of teaching staff ranges from a minimum of 2 days to a maximum of 2 months, excluding travel. For mobility from countries participating in the Programme towards Partner Countries, the duration of the activity goes from 5 days to 2 months. In both cases the minimum days of stay must be consecutive.
The planned teaching activity is at least 8 hours a week: this request is also expected for shorter stays. If the mobility continues over a week, the number of teaching hours are counted proportionally. If the teaching period also includes a period of training to update your skills, the number of hours required teaching for one-week stays (or shorter stays), it is 4 hours.
