"PATH OF EXCELLENCE" SCHOLARSHIP

As part of the II Session, in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in Appendix A, one (1) candidate will be selected to be admitted to the Path of Excellence of the Biomedical Engineering Degree Program. The selected candidate will be awarded a scholarship equal to exemption to the payment of 50% of the tuition fee for the entire three-year program, provided they meet the award and maintenance requirements set out in Appendix A.

The Excellence Path aims to promote students based on merit. Students admitted to the Path of Excellence will benefit from the support of a supervisor and will engage in additional and complementary learning activities beyond those of the program. The set of educational activities included in the Excellence Program, which may be partially undertaken abroad through the Erasmus Program, requires a minimum annual commitment of 4 credits (CFU) for the first and second years of the program. This does not result in the recognition of credits that can be used toward university degrees awarded by the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome. However, it does result in the issuance of a certificate of completion of the Program, which will be recorded in the student's academic record as extracurricular credits that are included in the Diploma Supplement.

Selected students will benefit from:

- a 50% exemption from the single university fee for the three-year program;

- upon request, a 30-hour English language improvement course;

- activities organized in collaboration with academic institutions or other international organizations.

The requirements and procedures for awarding and maintaining these benefits in subsequent years are defined in Annex A, which is an integral part of this Procedure.
