REQUIREMENTS
The only candidates who can participate in the enrolment procedure are the non-EU citizens not resident in Italy, who have obtained a valid qualification to access to University in their country of origin and who have obtained a score equal to or higher than 2 in the BMAT test (2022 and 2021 sessions) or a score equal to or higher than 15 in the IMAT test (2022 and 2021 sessions).
ADMISSION
Candidates who meet the requirements for the reallocation procedure must submit their application exclusively online by clicking on the appropriate button published on this page from 21st September 2022 until 10th October 2022 by 1 P.M. (CET).
Admission to the Master’s Degree Programmes in Medicine and Surgery and in Medicine and Surgery “MedTech” is based on a merit ranking defined by:
a) score achieved on the BMAT (Section 1 and Section 2) or IMAT, normalised on the basis of the maximum score achievable on each test;
b) the oral interview with an international commission, evaluated in thirtieths, amd focused on the topics as general culture, aptitude and motivation, the ability to argue and convey opinions and to interact optimally in English.
VISA APPLICATION
Non EU citizens not resident in Italy or in EU Countries who are interested in enrolling in UCBM must submit their visa application only through the Universitaly portal.
We shortly remind you the steps to be carried out:
- Firstly candidates must register and get their own credentials.
- Secondly they have to login and fill in the online form (STEP A) with their personal data.
- The third step (STEP B) requires candidates to upload a personal passport photo and a soft copy of their passport before indicating the State and the Italian representation where they will perform the visa process, and the reason for their application.
- Then they must select the Italian university where they are going to enroll together with type and name of the study programme concerned. The language box enables you to filter the courses and curricula taught in the chosen language.

5. In the last step (STEP C) candidates have to upload soft copies of the qualifications useful for admission: at this step neither translation nor legalization or Declaration of value are required.
We strongly recommend you to pay attention when selecting State, Italian representation and University in order to avoid any problem during the visa issuance process.
