Research Experience
HIGGS Search [2012-2019] I participated as analysis member to the analyses on: H to ZZ in four leptons, the measurement of the Higgs width and double Higgs boson decay where one Higgs decays into WW and the other in bb di-jets. I have been the analysis contact and contact editor of the H decay in mu mu for Hl-LHC upgrade studies public note (included in few upgrade TDRs).
EXOTICS SEARCHES: [Since 2013] I have been the contact editor of the analyses Displaced Leptonic Jets, Long-lived neutral particles decaying displaced to jets (at 7 TeV, 8 TeV and 13 TeV papers). Contact Editor of the LHC general White Paper on Long- Lived Particles.
B-JETS ANALISYS [Since 2005]: Measurement of the flavour composition in events with muon associated to jet, using the transverse momentum of the muon with respect to the jet axis (supervision of student thesis).
Contact Editor and analysis contact of the Measurement of the bbbar cross section. The b-jets are identified using the combination of a lifetime- and an impact-parameter based algorithm. The different production mechanisms as flavour creation, flavour excitation and gluon splitting are investigated, including the possibility to identify each single contribution.
Study dedicated to the Z boson production in association with a b-jet, and cross section ratio measurement (Z+b-jet/Z+jet) as main author.
Heavy Ions: Measurement of yy->tautau and tau g-2 interpretation with Pb-Pb data at ATLAS. The study is dedicated to the measurement of a_tau (analysis team).
I am currently contributing to the Tile system performances studies for Run-2. I am involved in three papers as contact editor from the Non Collisions Background group: Online framework application, Performance on Run2 data, Beam pressure description with Run2 data.
I participated to the FTK project contributing to the software decoding of the data from online to offline. I am continuing since 2005 to support and develop the Database infrastructure for the Muon system in particular for the Trigger chambers: RPC and the precision trading chambers MDT.
Participation to the Darkside (shifts and preliminary simulation studies) and Future Collider (CepC and FCC doing the study of the double Higgs boson decays, where one higgs decays into WW and the other in bb jets by using Multivariate approach for the Technical Paper - Contact Editor) groups.
