Patients’ reported quality of life and functional outcomes in elderly patients undergoing total joint arthroplasty
Project Objectives
Objective:
- To explore and describe patient-reported variations of quality of life and functional trajectories of elderly patients before and after total hip or knee arthroplasty; to verify whether a comprehensive preoperative assessment, including social, psychological, functional and nutritional factors, can help to better predict functional and health trajectories of elderly patients after surgery.
