BIliary tree and Pancreatic duct Laser AblatIon Project
Project objectives
Investigation of new therapeutical approach for laser ablation within the biliary tract and the pancreatic main duct, for potential use in treatment of cholangiocarcinomas or pancreatic non-invasive Intraductal Papillary Mucinous Neoplasms. Design the optimal procedure settings, and real-time monitoring of tissue temperature by means of different approaches (fiber optics, IR thermocamera).
