Biografia
Professore Ordinario di Malattie dell'Apparato Visivo, primario dell'Unità Operativa Complessa di Oftalmologia e direttore della Scuola di specializzazione in Oftalmologia. Nel 2018 è ritornato all’Università Campus Bio-Medico, dove in passato aveva conseguito la Laurea in Medicina e Chirurgia, la Specializzazione in Oftalmologia ed il Dottorato di Ricerca. Nel suo percorso professionale, si è ulteriormente specializzato negli Stati Uniti: in Patologia Oculare presso la Johns Hopkins University ed in Chirurgia Vitreo-Retinica presso la University of California a San Francisco. Ha esercitato per alcuni anni nell'Arcispedale IRCCS di Reggio Emilia. Svolge attività di ricerca in diversi campi dell'oftalmologia ed è autore di oltre 100 articoli scientifici.
