Biografia

Filippo Cacace è laureato in Ingegneria Elettronica al Politecnico di Milano nel 1988, dove ha ricevuto il Dottorato in Informatica e Automatica nel 1992. Dal 2003 lavora presso la Facoltà di Ingegneria dell’Università Campus Bio-medico di Roma, dove attualmente è Professore Associato.
I suoi interessi di ricerca riguardano la teoria del controllo, i processi stocastici, i sistemi con ritardo, i sistemi distribuiti, l’identificazione di sistemi e la systems biology. E’ docente dei corsi di Probabilità e Statistica per l’Ingegneria e Controllo dei Sistemi Digitali.

Biografia

Nasce nel 1973 a Torre del Greco (NA). Si diploma al Liceo Scientifico e si Laurea in Ingegneria delle Telecomunicazioni nell'anno 2000 presso l'Università Federico II di Napoli.

Curriculum

Dal 2001 al 2007 è professore a contratto presso la Facoltà di Ingegneria dell'Università Federico II di Napoli per gli insegnamenti di Elementi di Informatica, Reti Logiche, Calcolatori Elettronici I, Programmazione, Reti di Calcolatori. Dal 2008 al 2018 è professore a contratto presso la Facoltà di Ingegneria dell'Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma per l'insegnamento di Programmazione Modulare. Attualmente è un Funzionario Tecnico-Informatico Direttore presso il Ministero degli Interni - Dipartimento dei Vigili del Fuoco, del Soccorso Pubblico e della Difesa Civile.

Giulio Iannello

Biografia

Nato a Roma il 17 agosto 1957.

Curriculum

Giulio Iannello si è laureato in Ingegneria Elettronica presso il Politecnico di Milano nel 1981 ed ha conseguito il Dottorato in Ingegneria Elettronica ed Informatica presso l'Università di Napoli Federico II nel 1987. Attualmente è professore Ordinario presso l'Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma dove è Preside della Facoltà Dipartimentale di Ingegneria e responsabile dell’Area di Ricerca di Sistemi di Elaborazione e Bioinformatica. Ha partecipato e partecipa a numerosi progetti di ricerca nazionali e internazionali. Nel 2003 e nel 2005 ha ricevuto due grant dalla Hewlett-Packard per progetti riguardanti le applicazioni di dispositivi wireless mobili. È stato ed è responsabile di numerosi progetti di trasferimento tecnologico in ambito industriale. E' stato membro del Collegio dei Docenti di due Dottorati di Ricerca presso l’Università di Napoli Federico II ed è attualmente Coordinatore del Dottorato di Ricerca in Bioingegneria e Bioscienze presso l’Università Campus Bio-medico di Roma. E’ stato ed è attualmente relatore di diverse tesi di dottorato. I suoi interessi di ricerca attuali riguardano l'elaborazione di dati, segnali e immagini biomedicali, l'elaborazione di dati multimediali, le reti di calcolatori con particolare riferimento alle reti wireless e alle reti ad alte prestazioni, il progetto e l'analisi di algoritmi paralleli, la valutazione delle prestazioni di sistemi paralleli e distribuiti. Ha pubblicato oltre 130 articoli su questi e altri argomenti su riviste e atti di congressi internazionali e nazionali. E' membro di diversi Comitati di Programma di conferenze internazionali ed è revisore di riviste internazionali. E' membro dell'IEEE e dell'ACM.

Giulio Iannello graduated in Electronic Engineering at Politecnico di Milano in 1981 and received a Ph.D in Computer Science from the University of Napoli Federico II in 1987. In 1987 he joined the Department of Information Engineering and Applied Mathematics of the University of Salerno, where he was a Senior Researcher until October 1992. In November 1992 he joined the Department of Computer Science and Systems of the University of Napoli Federico II, where he was an Associate Professor until October 2000, and then Full Professor until February 2004. Since March 2004 he is Full Professor at the University Campus Bio-Medico di Roma where is Dean of the Department of Engineering and responsible of the Research Group on Computer Systems and Bioinformatics. He has participated and participates to several national and international research projects. In 2003 and 2005 he has received two grants from Hewlett-Packard for projects concerning the applications of mobile wireless devices. He has been and is responsible of several industry funded projects. He has been in the Advisor Board of two PhD programs at the University of Napoli Federico II and he is currently the Coordinator of the PhD program in Biomedical Engineering at the University Campus Bio-Medico di Roma. He has been and currently is the Advisor of several PhD Theses. His current research interests include wireless and high performance computer networks, multimedia data processing, design and analysis of parallel algorithms, performance evaluation of parallel and distributed systems. He has published over 130 journal and conference papers in these and related areas. He is member of several Program Committees of international conferences. He is member of the IEEE and the ACM.
