L'Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, in collaboration with Fondazione Mondo Digitale, hosts RomeCup 2018, the excellence of Robotics in Rome: a multi-event made up of competitions, conferences, workshops and exhibition areas to spread innovation by connecting schools, research centres, universities, companies and institutions between 16 and 18 April.
The eleventh edition of the RomeCup will open with the international conference "The future of biorobotics: imitating nature for the advancement of automation science and technology in the service of the person” in which they will take part, in addition to prof. Eugenio Guglielmelli, Vice Rector for Research UCBM, also Marychiara Carrozza, Professor of Industrial Bioengineering at the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna in Pisa, Oussama Khatib, from Stanford University, Robert Riener, from ETH Zurich and Nitish V. Thakor, from the National University of Singapore and Johns Hopkins University.
At the same time, the DigiLIFE Streategy Workout will take place, a session for the construction of a collective vision on the digital ecosystem and the life sciences, promoted by Lazio Innova and the laboratories for schools and robotics competitions will take shape.
UCBM will make available to visitors a series of orientation talks aimed at disclosing the university's educational offer.
