In continuity with the founding values ofUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, was built in time a system designed to guarantee the Quality Assurance of teaching, research activities and the third mission.
The quality objectives are defined at University level in the University Quality Policy document and in the three-year strategic plan.
UCBM shares the European standards defined by ENQA in the document Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG) of 2015 (https://enqa.eu/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/ESG_2015.pdf) and participates in the process of periodic accreditation defined by the National Agency for the Evaluation of the University and Research System (ANVUR) in the guidelines of the AVA system (Self-Assessment, Evaluation, Accreditation), currently in its third revision (AVA 3.0).
The Quality Assurance System is the set of actors who, as required by the MUR and defined by theUCBM, work organically to ensure that the processes defined and implemented in the University achieve the expected results.
The actors belonging to the SAQ, who collectively and actively participate in the Quality Assurance of the University, each for their own area of competence, are:
- University Evaluation Unit (NdV)
- University Quality Control (PQA)
- Teacher-Student Joint Commissions (CPDS)
- Teaching Quality Assurance Groupsingstudy courses (AQD-CdS groups)
- Research Quality Assurance Groups (AQR groups)
