In support of teaching, research and assistance
Rome Biomedical Campus University Foundation is a non-profit organization under Italian law established in 2015 with the aim of promoting scientific research and supporting theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma.
Led by Dr. Alessandro Pernigo, the Foundation intends to stimulate the generosity and social responsibility of individuals and organizations in order to generate long-term resources to support the teaching, research and assistance activities of the University and its University Hospital with the support of the Advisory Board led by Prof. Paolo Arullani, Honorary President of the University.
The Foundation promotes knowledge, interdisciplinary science, and research in all areas related to personal care, particularly supporting the elderly and frail through innovative and specific projects, in collaboration with companies, institutions, and the local community.
The Biomedical University Foundation promotes and manages an Inalienable Asset Fund (Endowment Fund) - similar to that of the main non-state University Institutions of the G8 countries - at the service of the mission, of the ideals of humanistic-scientific integration and international expansion which have been the principles of theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma.
