Full Professor of Industrial Bioengineering. Since 2021 he has been the Coordinator of the national PhD course on Artificial Intelligence for Health and Life Sciences. Since 2021 he has been the National Representative of Italy in the Horizon Europe - Cluster Health Program Committee and since April 2022 he has been a member of the Italian delegation of the G7 - Science working group. Since 2021 he has been Scientific Director of the IRCCS Fondazione Don Carlo Gnocchi Onlus. From 2013 to 2022 he was Pro-Rector for Research UCBM.
Full Professor of Human Physiology. Since 2015 he has been Head of the Molecular Neuroscience Research Unit and since 2010 he has been Director of the Molecular Neuroscience Laboratory. From 2019 to 2022 he was Research Coordinator of the Departmental Faculty of Science and Technology for Man and the Environment.
Full Professor of Analytical Chemistry. Since 2022 she has been the Coordinator of the Doctoral Course in Sustainable Development: Environment, Food and Health. Since 2019 she has been the President of the Degree Course in Food and Human Nutrition Sciences.
Full Professor of Information Processing Systems. He is Visiting Professor in Artificial Intelligence and Biomedical Engineering at Umeå University, (Sweden). Vice-coordinator of the National Doctorate in Artificial Intelligence for the Health and Life Sciences area. Since 2017 he is Chair of the IEEE International Technical Committee for Computational Life Sciences.
