Music together for the life of the University

The University Polyphonic Choir is one of main cultural activities promoted by UCBM, as part of the Campus Life project. An experience in which the passion for different musical genres mixes with the desire to refine one's singing and instrumental skills, encouraging the development of human relationships and the creation of a healthy spirit of sharing, typical of the university environment.

The Choir counts one thirty elements divided into four voices, male and female, and performs pieces of every musical genre, to stimulate a broader knowledge of these, also in the spirit of satisfying the different tastes of the students. The choral formation frequently collaborates with the Theater laboratory of the University for the staging of musicals.

The Choir aims to accompany the salient moments that mark university life: concerts, singing competitionssolemn celebrations. Internally, it annually participates ininauguration of the academic year,  Campus Got Talent and Christmas concerts. Organizes surprise musical visits to patients of the University Hospital and the Center for Elderly Health.
He has also successfully participated in some initiatives outside the university context. Certainly worth remembering is the evening at the Brancaccio Theater in Rome in October 2016, the performance of the Mameli Hymn in front of the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella in November 2019, the Mass for Youth with the Cardinal Vicar of the Diocese of Rome.

The tests, free and open to students and employees, usually take place on Wednesday at 18pm in the Club House of the Prabb building and allow the acquisition of 2 extracurricular credits.
