The Gender Equality Plan (GEP) of the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome is the planning and programmatic document that outlines the strategic vision of the University for the promotion and achievement achieving full gender equality and intends to value the full participation of all people to the activities of the University. The purpose is there promotion and diffusion of a culture that contrasts all forms of gender discrimination and which promotes the leveling of asymmetries caused by sexual orientation and by different psycho-physical abilities, through an integrated program of actions which create the conditions favorable to the development of a multicultural reality.
The objectives and actions contained in this document are in continuity with the programmatic lines which, for many years, have characterized theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, turn to pursuing well-being in the life of the entire working community, personal and family life of all its employees, with a view to favoring work-life balance by affirming a inclusive corporate culture<font style="vertical-align: inherit;"></font>
The overall purpose is create a university environment that is as inclusive as possible and capable of accommodating the specificities of each person, in a process of valuing diversity. The plan is aimed at all components of the University: male and female students, teachers, managers and employees, so that, through its application, the entire community recognizes itself in the principles contained therein.

The Gender Budget of theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, in accordance with the Guidelines edited by the CRUI Group for the Gender Budget, is drawn up reflecting the strategic vision of the University for the promotion and achievement of full gender equality, based on the principle of the centrality and well-being of the person.
Particular attention is paid by the University to support for the family, in all its components, by promoting equal sharing of care and assistance activities (care of children, parents and the elderly) between men and women, also supporting quality and affordable early childhood (Charter of purposes, art. 9, paragraph 2: Aware of the fact that the family is the primary institution of society, the University identifies and promotes concrete measures to harmonize professional commitments and personal life).
The Gender Budget (BdG) 2024 of theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma (UCBM) photographs the condition of the components of the academic community from a gender perspective, reports the activities and initiatives already underway, analyses the first steps of the implementation of the Gender Equality Plan (GEP) 2025, and focuses attention on some of the objectives of the Plan that will be monitored with particular attention during the year 2025.
