The workshop, organized as part of the "Italy-United States 2014-15 Scientific and Technological Cooperation Programme", will address issues relating to technological innovation in biomedicine, with particular reference to oncological research. Innovative biological models for the study of the tumor/immunity interface will be presented during the event, alongside technological challenges such as the use of nanomaterials for targeted drug delivery, the development of cell-on-chip microfluidic devices and the application of spectroscopic techniques for diagnostic purposes.
Organizers: Prof. Daniele Santini (UCBM), Prof. Marcella Trombetta (UCBM), Dr. Alberto Rainer (UCBM), Dr. Francesco Pantano (UCBM)
Participation in the workshop is free, upon registration via email at [email protected] by December 4, 2015.
