The course is aimed at executives and officers of private companies and public bodies who want to exploit the potential of OSINT for the evaluation of counterparties.

The course aims to make people understand that, in the context of third-party assessment, OSINT can represent a useful, effective and economic tool to support decision-making processes, i.e. the identification of any risks associated with the supplier or its chain supply chain also in the light of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) factors.
Description Course contents and syllabus
The course in "The added value of Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) in the assessment of supply chains" provides an overview to be able to capture and monitor possible risks within modern supply chains.
First module:
Workstation configuration: anonymization, Virtual Machine, VPN and main tools.
Second module:
Introduction to supplier analysis: definition of the target perimeter on the basis of the regulatory framework in force; identification of analysis dimensions based on information needs (corporate, eco/fin and reputational), identification of the main platforms/sites from which it is possible to extract useful information for free.
Third module:
Case Study: definition of the target perimeter of the company, definition of the analysis matrix, preparation of accurate search strings.
Fourth module:
Case Study: research information of a reputational nature on the target perimeter in order to identify correlations with organized crime, PEPs and/or sanctioned subjects.

At the end of the course, a will be issued certificate di participation.

Cost of the course
The course requires an enrollment fee of €1100. There is a discounted fee for students, former students of the Master Homeland Security and for those who have already attended the Basic course, equal to €700.
