A young researcher fromUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma he is among the top young scientists in Europe. The Dr. Giovanni Di Pino, of the Neurology, Neurophysiology and Neurobiology and Biomedical Robotics and Biomicrosystems Research Units, has in fact won the prestigious ERC-Starting Grant call, one of the most competitive at European level, funded by the European Research Council. His project, entitled RESHAPE (REstoring the Self with embodiable HAnd ProsthEs), has convinced the over thirty top scientists - including some Nobel Prize winners - who evaluated the almost 3 thousand applications submitted in Brussels. "The ERC-Starting Grant call - explains the Rector, Andrea Onetti Muda - only 3,8% of all Italian proposals are winners, and 10% of those presented at a European level. The few researchers who manage to achieve this result are considered among the top young scientists in Europe."
