Biografia

Andrea Demofonti is a Post-Doc research fellow at the Unit of Advanced Robotics and Human-centred Technologies (Creo Lab) - Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma (UCBM).

His research interests are mainly in the field of prosthetics, rehabilitation and assistive robotics and electro-stimulation for the recovery of sensorimotor capabilities. His activities are focused on the following topics: robotic modules for prosthetic and rehabilitation, Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) for the restoration of sensory feedback in upper and lower limb amputees, Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) for upper and lower limb hybrid rehabilitation
