PATH OF EXCELLENCE WITH SCHOLARSHIPS
Within Window I only, the selection of 4 (four) students is foreseen for access to the Excellence Path of the Degree Course in Food Sciences and Human Nutrition, with the assignment to each of the selected candidates of a scholarship covering 50% of the single university contribution for the entire three-year period of studies., in the presence of the assignment and maintenance requirements set out in Annex A.
The Path of Excellence aims to enhance students according to merit criteria. Students admitted to the Path of Excellence will benefit from the support of a referent teacher and will dedicate themselves to additional and complementary training activities to those of the course of study. The set of training activities envisaged by the Path of Excellence, which may also be carried out in part abroad through the Erasmus Program, requires a minimum annual commitment for the student, in the first and second year of the course, of 4 CFU and does not give rise to the recognition of CFU that can be used to obtain university degrees issued by theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, but upon the release of a certificate of completion of the Course which will be recorded in the student's career in terms of extracurricular CFU which flow into the Diploma Supplement.
Selected students will benefit from:
- 50% exemption from the payment of the single university contribution for the three-year period;
- upon request, a 30-hour English language improvement course;
- activities also organized in collaboration with academic institutions or other international organizations.
The requirements and methods for assigning and maintaining such benefits in the academic years following the first are defined in Annex A, which is an integral part of this Procedure.
Note: The first 10 candidates in order of arithmetic mean between the third-to-last and second-to-last year of secondary school are admitted to the oral interview.
The list of names of those admitted to the oral interview is published within 6 (six) working days from the closing date for registrations to the Course, together with the list of those admitted to enrollment in the Course.
The oral interview is aimed at verifying the candidates' predisposition and skills in relation to the contents and aims of the Excellence Path, and focuses on general culture, attitudinal, motivational topics and on more specific knowledge relating to the chemistry , biology.
ENROLLMENT
Following the admission procedure, with reference to the 1st Enrolment Window and the 2nd Enrolment Window, the Candidates admitted to the course proceed to ENROLMENT - PHASE I no later than the following deadlines:
- within 5 (five) days from the date of publication of the list of those admitted to enrollment (I and II Registration Window);
- the only candidates admitted to the oral interview to identify the assignees of the Path of Excellence referred to in Annex A of this Procedure[1], can proceed with enrollment within 5 (five) days from the date of publication of the interview results.
PHASE-I enrolment is completed by completing – within the aforementioned deadlines – all the actions indicated below and by adhering to the “enrolment instructions” that will be published by the date set for the opening of enrolments on the Admission Procedure web page accessible from https://www.unicampus.it/it/info/ammissioni-corsi-laurea:
- create the student's student credentials on the University IT system;
- with the credentials created, access the reserved area and pay € 2.000,00 (two thousand/00) equal to the amount of the first installment of the single university contribution[2];
- deliver or send to the Student Secretariat by fax to 06.225411939 or by PEC [email protected] the receipt certifying the payment of the first installment of the single contribution, referred to in the previous letter b).
The candidate admitted to enrolment who does not carry out all the operations referred to in the previous letters a), b) and c) within the aforementioned terms is automatically considered to have renounced and the remaining vacant places are made available to suitable candidates according to the order of submission of the online application for admission.
Following the enrolment of the admitted candidates, the suitable candidates contribute to the allocation of any remaining places according to the order of the list of those admitted to enrollment. Eligible candidates are informed of the assignment of any remaining places by means of a public notice on the Admission Procedure web page accessible from https://www.unicampus.it/it/info/ammissioni-corsi-laurea.
In the presence of residual places, the publication of the aforementioned notice by the University will normally take place on Tuesdays and Fridays (with the exception of public holidays in Italy). The notice indicates the date from which, in the presence of places, the candidates in the positions of the list of those admitted to enrollment indicated in the same notice proceed to accept the place offered to them with the following procedures:
the suitable assignee of a remaining place has the possibility to enroll with the same methods described above in letters a), b) and c) starting from 12.00 pm (CET) on the day indicated in the public notice and no later than 12.00 pm (CET) on the following working day. An eligible person who does not comply with the aforementioned deadline and the methods set out in letters a), b) and c) is automatically considered to have renounced and will forfeit enrolment.It is the candidate's responsibility to ensure that notices are published by the University in good time.
[1] As established in Annex A of this Admission Procedure, to which reference is made in full, the merit ranking of the Excellence Path, valid only for the purposes of assigning the resulting benefits, will be published on the procedure web page by 21 March 2025.
[2] The amount of the second installment of the single university contribution must be paid by January 23, 2026; the amount of the third installment of the single university contribution must be paid by April 10, 2026.
The amounts of the single university contribution are established in the Regulations on Fees and Contributions for the academic year 2025/2026, published on the web page https://www.unicampus.it/ammissioni-corsi-di-laurea/tasse-e-contributi/. In the event of discrepancies between this Admission Procedure and what is established by the Fees and Contributions Regulation for the academic year 2025/2026, the latter shall prevail.
PATH OF EXCELLENCE WITH SCHOLARSHIPS
Candidates admitted to the oral interview for the purpose of assigning the benefits of the Excellence Path referred to in Article 1 and Annex A of the Admission Procedure, proceed to enrollment PHASE-I in the manner and within the terms indicated above, like the generality of candidates. The 4 (four) winners of the scholarships proceed to accept the benefit within 2 (two) days from the date of publication of the merit ranking of the Excellence Path referred to in Annex A, by sending a specific PEC communication indicating acceptance of the scholarship to the address [email protected]
Candidates who are winners of the Excellence Path, and therefore recipients of the scholarship provided for therein, proceed to enrollment in PHASE-I according to the terms and methods indicated above. The benefit entails a 50% exemption from the payment of the single university contribution, adjusting the amount of the second and/or third installment.
Candidates awarded a scholarship who do not proceed with the formal acceptance of the benefit within the terms and with the procedures described above will lose the benefit of the scholarship and may enroll within 5 (five) days of the publication of the merit ranking of the Excellence Path.
