Recipients and access requirements

Admission to the Master's Degree Course in Chemical Engineering for Sustainable Development requires certain access requirements listed in the Competition Announcement (for example: degree class of origin, CFU acquired with exams in certain SSDs, etc.) that the candidate must document in the online application for registration in the procedure for admission to the Course.

Scholarships covering

Within the II Window (submission of applications from 12/06/2026 to 01:00 pm on 23/07/2026) Furthermore, a selection is foreseen - among the candidates admitted to enrolment and in possession of the requirements set out in Annex B - of a maximum of 10 (ten) candidates who will be able to take an oral test aimed at the selection of n. 2 (two) students admitted to the Excellence Path of the Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering for Sustainable Development (benefits can be increased following the first enrollment window).

The selection process for admission to the Excellence Program involves an oral exam within the timeframe and according to the procedures set out in Appendix B. This exam is solely for the purpose of admission to the Excellence Program and has no effect on admission to the Degree Program, which is governed by the subsequent articles of this Procedure.

The Excellence Program aims to promote students based on merit. Students admitted to the Excellence Program will benefit from:

  • exemption from paying 50% of the single university fee for the entire two-year period of study, in the presence of the assignment and maintenance requirements set out in Annex B;
  • with the support of a teacher;
  • the possibility of carrying out further training and research activities in the University laboratories, as part of the activities planned for the research doctorates already active.

The Scholarships for the Excellence Path referred to in this Call are financed with Funds UCBM and can be increased if necessary in the presence of financial contributions from donors who sponsor the Program.

Scholarships by income

The Biomedical University Foundation, on the occasion of the International Award for Leadership and Benevolence "Joaquìn Navarro Valls" - III edition, has established a Scholarship Fund for theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma (UCBM) named after Joaquín Navarro-Valls, physician and President of the Advisory Board UCBMThis fund aims to help develop deserving and less well-off talent.

In this context, 2 (two) scholarships are funded, of which 1 (one scholarship) is funded by ASJA ENERGY SBRL, JNV Award, to impact the personal and professional development of two students of the Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering for Sustainable Development, enrolled in the 2026/2027 academic year.

The students awarded the two aforementioned scholarships will each benefit from an annual contribution equal to € 6.500,00 (six thousand five hundred/00) for the entire legal duration of the studies, equal to two years, for a total value equal to € 13.000,00 (thirteen thousand/00). The aforementioned annual contribution will be assigned as an exemption/reimbursement from the payment of the corresponding sum to be drawn from the amounts of the single university contribution established in the Tax and Contribution Regulations

The two Joaquín Navarro-Valls scholarships cannot be combined with similar benefits from other public or private institutions, without prejudice to the option of interested students.

Enrollment

The admitted candidates proceed with enrollment within 5 (five) working days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays in Italy) from the date of publication of thelist of those admitted to registration on this web page, carrying out the actions indicated in the admission procedure and following the "enrolment instructions" published above.
