The Ethics Committee of theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, is an organization constituted and composed according to criteria of competence, interdisciplinarity and independence, in compliance with the Statute and Charter of Purposes and Code of Ethics dell 'Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma.

In carrying out its activities, the Ethics Committee adheres to legal, ethical, and professional regulations at the national, European Union, and international levels. The Committee formulates decisions for the scientific leaders of the research and the directly involved structures to ensure that the research is conducted in accordance with the ethical principles defined by international and national legislation, the Code of Ethics, and the Charter of the Aims of the Research Council.Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma.

In particular, the Ethics Committee works with the aim of safeguarding:

  • the rights, dignity, integrity and well-being of human beings involved in research activities;
  • respect for every other living organism;
  • respect for the environment in all its dimensions and components;
  • the integrity, freedom, and promotion of science and scientific ethics, including through the production of popular and scientific evidence.
